Evaluation of the Renovated Building

By extending the attic floor, an attractive apartment has been created on two floors.

The renovated building also meets the three quality criteria for buildings of the Roman architectural theorist Vitruvius: strength, usability, and beauty.

• The replacement of damaged and no longer load-bearing components and the sealing of the building envelope to the outside have increased the strength of the building enormously.
• Its usability has increased considerably due to additional rooms, the heat and moisture insulation of the building and modern heating and ventilation technology.
  
• The renovation of the facade and roof as well as the new dormer windows clearly has gained and bring the beauty of the house in line with its surroundings.
